An exciting new vacancy is available with Luviair UK Ltd (“Yellow helicopters”) for an Isle of Man based Pilot. 

You will be an integral part of Luviair (UK) Ltd, a new AOC, operating in the Isle of Man.

The initial helicopter is the Robinson R44 Clipper II

The pilot will be a key driver in growing this new island based tour business. They will become an active post-holder, and as such will have to comply with the UK CAA’s requirements for the post, and respect the responsibilities associated with it.

There will also be the potential to provide safety pilot support services to our VIP clients in our larger twin engine fleet.  Opportunities for involvement with deck crew training onboard helicopter capable yachts in mediterranean waters with live helicopter exercises in the Spring and early Autumn.

This is an opportunity with unique challenges, as such we are looking for the person who fits with our vision and wants to grow along with the company driving that growth from the start, and not just the applicant who ticks the boxes. The below are minimum requirements and should not be viewed as the sole indication of who we are seeking to employ.

Minimum Requirements:

  • EASA CPL (H)
  • EASA FI Unrestricted
  • EASA Class 1 Medical
  • R44 Type Rating with good general Robinson experience
  • Willingness to relocate to Isle of Man


  • 1400 total rotary hours
  • A Turbine type rating
  • H125 Type Rating + 15 hours on type
  • French and /or Spanish speaker
  • Certificates; Dangerous Goods, Fire , First Aid, CRM
  • Has completed the Robinson Safety course
